One man’s take on life, death and everything in between. I can’t say this is the life changing work some have professed it to be and the book struggles to live up to its catchy title, but the world of self-help books is rife with bullshit so this straight talking take on the genre is refreshing and original.
I wasn’t familiar with Manson’s work up until now but it wasn’t a surprise to find that he is a blogger. It reads as a collection of loosely connected ideas rather than a singular work. That isn’t always a bad thing, but it can sometimes feel like it’s not going anywhere.
That said, it’s an easy read and Manson offers up a unique insight on the world. Worth a read if you get a spare few hours.
