A coke-fuelled golf comedy following the life of a caddie trying to bag a scholarship to go to college.
The whole does not equal the sum of its parts. Bill Murray is brilliant, as are Rodney Dangerfield, Ted Knight and Chevy Chase. Cindy Morgan is ridiculously good looking. The script is memorable and very quotable. And yet… something just doesn’t quite click.
It’s a collection of very funny scenes that barely hang together as a film. Make of that what you will. I had a good time, your mileage may vary!
