We don’t do Thanksgiving here in the UK but the weather’s been cold of late and I got in the mood for some Steve Martin and John Candy. It’s such a heart warming film that it did just the trick.

I always appreciate that Hughes doesn’t leave the moment Neal realises he likes Del until the very end, so you get to see shit go bad while they are getting along as well as when they hate each other.

Also, Kevin Bacon really is in everything.
