22 Jump Street
“Do the same thing as last time. Everyone’s happy.”
This is a silly but self-aware sequel. It’s lost a bit of its edge over time but it’s still funny, and the two leads (Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill) have a real spark on-screen.
Worth a watch just for the hilarious ball of rage that is Ice Cube.
There are talks of more sequels and spin-offs but let’s hope they just quit while they’re ahead and let the franchise stay dormant.
