Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone
Looks like we’re watching all 8 of these, that’s married life in a lockdown for you.
A weak film with some dull lead performances from the kids (except Emma Watson who gets the brief), but this is nevertheless a faithful adaptation of the book. Much like the book, it fleshes out a rich and welcoming world before conjuring up the excitment of going on a new adventure.
Needlessly long, but still holds up 20 years on.
