I was surprised to find that I watched this four years ago1, I have no recollection of it at all! Back then I said it wasn’t that memorable, so I suppose I stand by what I said.
It’s such a chore. It goes nowhere at all, and at 160 minutes, nowhere fast. Chock full of irritating supporting characters (fucking Dobby) and running around to fill time.
The whole franchise, at least in the early days, boils down to “they’re in trouble now! They’ve gone and done it! They are going to the teacher’s office! Oh ok turns out they are getting an award.”
I think, at least I hope, it gets better from here.
