Men in Black: International

There hasn’t been a good Men in Black since the first one, so it’s hard to imagine a re-cast and reboot was ever going to do the trick. Spoiler alert: it didn’t.

Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson are great, Kumail Nanjiani is funny… there’s little else going on here. The plot is so so tired and predictable it’s like no one even tried. How many times have we seen the ‘oh shit the gift he gave me was a tracking device’ plot twist? The amount of effort put into this screenplay is shamefully low.

I wish they’d come and wipe my memory…
