Strangers

Essays on the Human and Nonhuman
13 October 2020

A series of essays about the earth, our connection to it and its climate.

Tamás blends evocative language and carefully researched dissertation here, while being incredibly concise. These essays, to my ears, read like poems and often moved me like poems.

There was the occasional moment, when things got a little too wordy, that made me want to slow down and read the doom and gloom out loud like Werner Herzog to amuse myself. I’m not a very intelligent person.

Push through the fear of the pseuds corner and Strangers rewards you with its unique perspective on the world in the 21st century.
