There’s a hole in local journalism here in Sheffield, and the Tribune is doing a great job filling it. It’s early days but they have been putting out quality original long-form work on a regular basis. Plus their roundup of events in the area has opened my eyes to stuff going on that I’d never seen before. If you live in Sheffield, I can’t recommend a subscription enough, paid or free.1
