A gender-swapped remake of She’s All That. Padgett is an instagram influencer who gets humiliated on live stream. To get followers back she decides to bet that she can take the biggest loser in school and turn him into prom king.
Very poor on every front. There’s a flimsy message in here somewhere about getting off your phone but a Netflix original that is aimed at TikTokkers (TikTokkites? TikTokians?) is never going to really want to explore that in any depth—you don’t shit where you eat. And so the final point seems to be “act like you’ve changed but just bend others to your lifestyle instead”.
