Nightmare Sisters

Three nerdy sorority sisters (Linnea Quigley, Brinke Stevens, Michelle Bauer) get turned into sex-crazed-maniacs after a seance at a party.

This was made in three days in someone’s house using the leftovers from another film production and boy does it show. The first 40 minutes or so is pure exposition, with one solid 10-minute static take that just will not end.

Then everyone gets naked and it’s just a cynical amount of boobs everywhere but it’s also quite amusing. The three leading ladies aren’t strictly acting but they are clearly having fun and it’s sort of infectious. The guys are, to be frank, terrible. It’s unclear if they are completely literate.

There’s a long scene in a bathtub where everyone gets naked and lathers up, it doesn’t make a ton of sense and the sound effects are, hilariously, very poorly chosen.

And yet there’s a childish, almost improvised sense of humour to the second half which I kind of liked. Blowjobs that turn you to dust. An exorcism where they just hurl insults at the demon. They are just making it up as they go along and doing what they can with what they have to hand.
