Derren Brown sits down with a friend, shows off some card tricks, and explains the ins-and-outs of how he does them.

This is a straight-to-video VHS tape from the 90s. Aimed at magicians, or magicians in waiting, I found its simple conversational style quite enthralling even for a 2h45m tape. He breaks things down into individual moves and explains his influences when putting tricks together.

There’s a couple of moves here that even as he explains what is going on, and slows it right down, still fool the eye. This guy could really make it to the big time!
