Game Night
“You’re like a double threat. Brains… and you’re British.”
Holds up remarkably well to second viewing. Every joke works, the plot is tight and the thumping Cliff Martinez soundtrack sets an unusual but welcome tone.
The script leans on Rachel McAdams for laughs which turns out to be a canny move - she’s hilarious.
Everything about Game Night was set to be a run of the mill studio comedy, right down to the poster. Instead it turned out to be one of the funniest films of 2018.
